'Story Part 1: In the early morning hours and high humidity, people in Mexico claimed to see feathers on the coyotes. Story Part 2: Ancient Aztecs believed that the plumed coyote was a companion to one of their supreme gods, Tezcatlipoca. The coyote was believed to protect travelers from robbers! Lucius lived in the desert for many years and saw many coyotes in the moonlight. He thinks they are very mysterious creatures. He likes the idea of them being "supernatural"."
